| 内容記述 | The development of CD-ROMs, which are used as package media, seems to have been speeded up further by the release of a variety of software packages and the sale of personal computers with a CD-ROM drive for the last several years. On the other hand, the problem of sharing the use of a CD-ROM has already been raised because there is sufficient evidence to suggest that networking is very likely to spread in computing. This paper is intended to examine the present status, problems and possibilities of a proposed system in which the server is part of the computer network and used to store or collect the information necessary to aid in the control of a few of the CD-ROM drives. | |||||||
