| 内容記述 | This papaer reports an attempt to examine the role of schema in English reading, understanding and memory. The main results were as follows :（1）the content schema prompted understanding of each details about English text,（2）but types of subject had no influence on understanding of composition and details, besides memory,（3）japaniese translation of difficult English words had no influence on undersatnding of composion and details, besides memory. These results were discussed in terms of the relationship between content schema and subject's English ability. | |||||||
