The above theme is considered through three cases : William Faulkner and the Civil War, John Dos Passos and World WarI, and Norman Mailer and World WarII. Each case has its own characteristics. But it seems to be very much possible for us to find the fact that big wars always influenced a great deal upon the then literature and that they not a little contributed to the progress of the literature in each period though it is a very ironical thing. This paper makes a research especially on how wars gave deep influences upon the above three authors in each way and what they felt, thought and wished to say in their works through their indirect or direct relations with the wars.}, pages = {(27)--(50)}, title = {戦争と文学についての研究 : フォークナー、ドス・パソス、メイラーの場合(共同研究)(英語英米文学専攻)}, year = {2001} }
